Cellphilms are short films made with a cellphone that takes up a prompt. The Black Lives Matter in New Brunswick Education project research team, have created short cellphilms that describe experiences as Black people living, studying, and working in New Brunswick. We encourage teachers to use our cellphilms to engage learners in conversation about the themes arising from the media. We also invite you to check out this 'How to Make a Cellphilm' Toolkit to bring cellphilming into your classroom. We encourage folks to create cellphilms and other art-based responses to our work! Email your creations to us and we will gladly share them here.
